A Holiday Gift Guide
Tis the season for gifts and gift guides.
Hi Book Lovers,
Holiday gifting is one of my favorite cozy rituals—the browsing, the daydreaming, the thrill of finding the perfect thing. So if you’re hunting for ideas (or just trying to dodge the inevitable last-minute scramble), here’s my holiday gift guide to make your season a little brighter.
I’ve rounded up a few of my personal favorites and recruited some of my favorite humans to (begrudgingly) add their picks too. I fully meant to get this guide into your hands earlier so you could swoop in on the Black Friday sales, but now that Black Friday lasts roughly… a week? A month? Time is a flat circle. Forgive me! The good news: a whole lot of these items are on sale right now.
Also, a heads up: some of the links are affiliate links. Use them if you like, or don’t—either way, I just hope you find something you love.
Listen—every holiday gift guide for readers seems to be contractually obligated to recommend a Kindle, a stand, and a bookstore gift card. And yes, if your favorite bookworm needs those, absolutely wrap them up with a bow. But this? This is not that list.
Before we dive in, one PSA for my fellow readers: Barnes & Noble drops limited-edition signed copies every Black Friday. You never know who’s going to be featured, but this is your shot at snagging a signed Sarah J. Maas or Rebecca Yarros. Consider this your friendly heads-up.
Now, onto the fun stuff.
Sound the alarms! Rifle Paper Co. dropped a new book mug, and I am feral for it. It’s pink and it’s adorable. If your reader is a lover of the classics, this is a must-have.
This is the reading pillow I recommend constantly. It sells out often, so if you see it available, move quickly.
A charming, book-themed ornament never disappoints. I adore these tiny bookstacks—they make my office tree feel extra cozy and literary.
Bookish Prints by Riley Sheehey
Riley Sheehey creates beautiful, classic-inspired illustrations. The Little Women and The Secret Garden prints are standout options for anyone who appreciates subtle, book-centered art.
“Shop Around the Corner” Art Print
If they love romance novels, there’s a good chance You’ve Got Mail holds a special place in their heart. This Shop Around the Corner bookshop print is a perfect nod to both romance and book lovers alike. I adore mine!
I take my Kindle’s wardrobe seriously. Mood reading demands a case that fits, and these are some of my top picks for anyone who wants their e-reader to look as good as their reading list.
Beyond the classic icon glasses (which are super cute), I’m obsessed with this festive coupe glass featuring a Christmas tree stem—plus it’s pink! Fun, whimsical, and perfect for holiday parties.
Take a moment to slow down this season with this book of festive watercolor designs. It’s a little creative escape perfect for cozy afternoons.
Holiday Plates – Riley Sheehey x Pottery Barn Kids
Riley Sheehey teamed up with Pottery Barn and somehow made me want all the plates. These holiday designs are truly one-of-a-kind and just darling!
Your feet deserve to be cozy and festive! These bow slippers brighten up any winter day. And if you’re going full-on bows, why not add this bow sweater to the cart too?
I recently grabbed the comfiest candy cane PJs from Kyte Baby, and they come in matching family sets! Perfect for anyone living their best “mommy & me” or holiday matching moment. True to size and ridiculously cozy.
Lola Dupe Blanket on Amazon
If you’ve admired the Lola blanket but hesitated at the price, this dupe is a perfect alternative. I own several, and they’re incredibly cozy and soft.
Lake Pajamas
You’ve probably seen these everywhere, but I’d be remiss not to include them as this is their biggest sale of the year and they are incredibly comfortable. I went with classic red and a festive holiday set, and they fit true to size.
Necessaire Body Duo
I love this scent from Necessaire, and the duo leaves my skin feeling hydrated, smooth, and pampered—without feeling heavy or greasy.
KitchenAid Bowl
My KitchenAid bowl is a staple in my kitchen—not just functional but also decorative. Bonus: it’s currently on sale, so it’s the perfect time to snag one.
SK-II Facial Essence Treatment
I’ve been using this for a while and love it. It works beautifully on sensitive skin, leaving it hydrated, refreshed, and glowing without drying.
Charlotte Tilbury Highlighter
My forever highlighter. I use this in place of blush because of the tint and my fair skin tone. It gives the prettiest glow without looking glittery—just soft, luminous, and effortless. A true everyday staple.
Kate McLeod Sleep Stone
I recommend this constantly for a reason. The Sleep Stone is my favorite—the scent is calming, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. A little nightly ritual in a bar.
Oribe Royal Blowout (Mini)
Trust me and grab the mini—a little goes a long way. This is the only product that actually speeds up my blow-dry time, and I have a lot of hair. Lightweight, smoothing, and magic in a bottle.
Cake Stand That Wows
This piece instantly elevates any dessert display. It’s elegant, eye-catching, and perfect for holidays, birthdays, or just making Tuesday night feel fancy.
Oval Initial Ring
I adore mine. It’s simple, chic, and great for stacking or wearing on its own. A sweet, personalized gift that still feels elevated.
Half Baked Harvest Cookbook
I haven’t met a recipe in this book I didn’t love. All of Tieghan’s cookbooks are fantastic, but this one is my go-to for cozy, reliable meals that always hit.
Summer Fridays Lip Balm
Moisturizing without the sticky feel, and the tinted shades are beautifully subtle. An easy everyday favorite.
Donegal Socks
I’m obsessed with these Donegal socks—they’re soft, warm, and downright adorable. The seasonal prints are even better, from Tree Farm to classic winter cabin vibes.
Snif Laundry Booster
This stuff smells unbelievably fresh. I love using it on towels and linens—the scent actually lasts, which feels like a small laundry miracle.
Bookish Cocktail Stirrers
Beach Reads & Bubbly is releasing the cutest bookish cocktail stirrers, and I am starry-eyed. Keep an eye on her Instagram for the drop—trust me, they’re worth it.
Hatch Clock
With our little one moving out of our room soon, I have a feeling I’m going to miss the steady hum of her Hatch sound machine. So I’m finally eyeing the adult version. Maybe it’s the key to waking up like a functional human instead of a gremlin. Worth a shot.
Darling Loungewear
I’m in loungewear more often than not, so upgrading what I live in feels like a smart move. Cozy doesn’t have to mean frumpy—these sets strike the perfect balance.
One calendar. Total organization. That’s the dream. Will this solve all my problems? Probably not. Will it finally keep our work schedules, appointments, and to-dos in one place? Absolutely. It syncs all your calendars into one streamlined hub and even includes shared lists and tasks—ideal for families.
Throne of Glass Dust Jacket Set
A friend recently shared this set on Instagram, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. It’s stunning—I’d love to have a truly beautiful edition of this series on my shelves.
My husband is a creature of habit and once he finds a product he loves he is a loyal stan. Here are a few of his favorites.
Boos Cutting Board
My husband—affectionately called Chef Nicholas (He is not a chef, but based on his affinity for mise en place you’d think so) swears these are the best cutting boards out there. They’re sturdy, reliable, and the only ones he reaches for. He also uses this conditioner to keep them looking brand new.
Cole Haan Sneakers
His favorite dress-up sneakers. He seriously owns them in two colors. They’re the perfect mix of polished and comfortable—and they’re on major sale.
Smartwool Socks
Men having deeply held opinions about socks will never stop amusing me, but he’s loyal to this brand and insists nothing else compares.
Vuori Sweatpants
He’s a big Vuori fan, and I wouldn’t be a book lover if I didn’t get him a great pair of grey sweats—the official uniform of book boyfriends everywhere. A gift for him and me.
I had to enlist my gorgeous sister-in-law for some of her picks. She might be the only person I know that shops as hard as I do and I just love her taste!
Wine Backpack Cooler
For the friend who shows up prepared. This backpack keeps bottles perfectly chilled and makes picnics, concerts, and girls’ nights incredibly easy.
Ouai Hand Lotion
A chic little luxury. The scent is beautiful, the texture is silky, and it’s one of those products that actually feels special every time you use it.
Lash Serum
I swear by this serum! *She has truly unbelievable lashes. Consider me convinced—and now passing along the recommendation.*
Gold Beats Headphones
I already loved my Beats, but now they come in gold and I’m dangerously close to upgrading.
Portable Charger
My constant companion. I never leave the house without it, and it’s saved my phone (and sanity) more times than I can count.
ZO Face Scrub
I use this a few times a week, and it truly makes a difference. My skin always feels brighter afterward.
Tinsel & Spice Candle
This is my holiday candle every single year. It makes the whole house feel warm and festive without being too strong.
Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream
I know it’s a splurge, but I swear by it. It keeps my skin hydrated and glowing—worth every bit.
Caro Chambers Cookbook
This is the cookbook I keep out on the counter because I reach for it so often. The recipes are dependable, delicious, and always a hit.
Petite Trunk
My dream splurge for her is this petite trunk. I’ve been eyeing them for months, and the recent Rifle Paper Co collab matches Maddie’s nursery perfectly—clearly a sign! These trunks are perfect for storing keepsakes like baby blankets, footprints, and stuffed animals, all in a beautiful, lasting way.
Lovevery Subscription
Her absolute favorite is the Lovevery play gym, so we decided to try the subscription box every two months—and we love it. Each box comes with safe, age-appropriate toys and development guides. As a first-time mom, I also love the ideas for engaging Maddie as she grows more curious about the world around her. Such a thoughtful, well-designed brand.
H&M Baby Clothes
Full disclosure: I may have purchased too many sweaters for a growing baby in Texas. Logic aside, the pieces are just too cute to resist.
Magnetic Me Onesies
My favorite onesies are a bit of a splurge, so they’re reserved for special occasions. The magnetic closures make middle-of-the-night changes effortless, and they’re incredibly soft. My top pick? The Bake My Day onesie. Little Sleepies is another favorite brand of mine.
Lalo High Chair
A practical pick that’s also on sale! I love the 3-in-1 design: it works as a high chair, booster, and kid’s chair. With longevity like that, the price is easy to justify.
This book is personalized and quilt and just utterly adorable!
Kyte Baby Sleep Sac
We’re obsessed with these sleep sacs. Maddie lives her best life in them, and honestly, I might need an adult version for myself! Soft, cozy, and perfect for a good night’s sleep.
That’s a wrap on my holiday gift guide! I hope you found a few ideas to make your shopping a little easier—or at least inspired a little joy while browsing. If you have any questions about anything on the list, drop a comment—I’m happy to help you navigate the best gifts this season!
